The Germany-based RÖHM corporate group has established a new sales subsidiary in Slovakia. The company will use it as a base to offer its clamping and gripping technology-related products and services in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. This expansion is RÖHM's response to the growing demand in the region.
"The establishment of our sales subsidiary in Slovakia is in keeping with our corporate philosophy of staying close to our customers. The subsidiary will bring us into even closer proximity with our customers, allowing us to participate more closely than ever in their growth plans," says Peter Trnka, Sales Director for Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
The company already has a production site in Slovakia, manufacturing primarily for the local market, and the expansion of its sales activities is the logical next step. With Mr Trnka RÖHM has been able to win a man with experience in the mechanical engineering field. In his function as sales director for the Czech and Slovakian markets he will be able to divide the region into effective territories and customer segments, thus ensuring an even better standard of customer service.
