Synthetic grippers / Soft Gripper
for gripping free-form surfaces with individually an adapted gripping contour
Whether round material, prismatic workpieces or free-form surfaces, the synthetic RRMG gripper from RÖHM is individually adapted to the workpiece and then produced. This guarantees not only a perfect grip, but it also saves a considerable amount of weight thereby reducing the accelerated masses. Only a 3D model of the workpiece is required, and RÖHM will produce the individual synthetic RRMG gripper based on that. This customer-specific solution is therefore perfect for gripping and clamping sensitive workpieces with complex geometries.
Special jaws for free-form surfaces make it possible to safely grip and clamp sensitive workpieces with complex geometries. The very robust and resilient design of the new RRMG gripper enables a 30% higher clamping force.
1: FEM-optimized structure with reinforcement ribs in T-profile for maximum rigidity and long service life
2: Integrable sensor query for maximum process reliability and automation
3: Customer-specific jaws that are perfectly adapted to the workpiece
4: New, robust, resilient and weight-reduced design
